In 2022, a survey conducted in the selected African countries found that over 70 percent of people felt it important that brands understood their faith. Nigeria had the highest rate of this opinion at 82 percent. Furthermore, brands should use proper cultural awareness and local knowledge to tailor their marketing campaigns to the desires of Muslim communities.

The respondents were asked : "Do you agree with the following statement? 'It is important that brands understand my faith.?"
The sample is representative of the adult Muslim population of the given country in terms of gender and age.
