As of April 25, 2022, Mauritius was the African country with the highest coronavirus (COVID-19) booster vaccine rate, as 47 percent of its population had received a booster shot. Seychelles and Rwanda followed, with booster vaccination rates of 36 percent and 23 percent, respectively.
