According to a survey of online users in the United States, approximately half of respondents reported they were stressed by email phishing scams, while less than four in 10 reported feeling stressed out by emails from marketers and salespeople. By comparison, approximately two in 10 respondents reported not feeling any stress nor experiencing any worry when it came to their emails, while only 17 percent reported being stressed by the branded emails and newsletters they willingly signed up to.
