Share of U.S. and UK adults likely to travel for medical purposes August 2022
An August 2022 survey explored the share of adults from the United States and the United Kingdom who were likely to travel for medical purposes. The highest share of respondents from the U.S. and UK said they were not likely to travel at all for this reason, at 47 percent and 61 percent, respectively. Meanwhile, less than 10 percent of respondents in both countries claimed to be very likely to travel for medical purposes.
