According to a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in South Korea in July 2022, around 71 percent of respondents aged 55 years and older stated that they planned on buying travel insurance for their post-COVID travels. In contrast, only around 47 percent of 16 to 24 year olds planned on doing the same. Apart from the youngest age group, the majority of all respondents did plan on buying travel insurance.
