Share of employment in Africa 2020, by economic activity
Employees in trade, public services, and agriculture represented the largest share of employment among the economic activities exercised in Africa. Workers in trade services made up 19 percent of the total employment, while the share for public services and agriculture reached around 18 percent and 17 percent, respectively.
