According to a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in South Korea in July 2022, around 53.3 percent of female respondents who were planning on traveling abroad this year stated that they wanted to do so because they missed traveling. Meanwhile, around 52.9 percent of male respondents stated that they felt safe traveling due to being fully vaccinated. Another common reason shared across genders was the easing of travel restrictions at planned destinations.
