According to a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in South Korea in July 2022, around 53 percent of respondents between the ages of 45 and 54 years stated that they did not plan on traveling abroad this year. The majority of respondents across all age groups gave the same answer. Respondents aged between 25 and 34 years had the largest share of people planning to go abroad despite the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, at around 37.7 percent.
