The largest age group entitled to vote in the Swedish parliamentary election in 2022 were those between 30 and 49 years, with more than 1.25 million male and 1.23 million female voters. Moreover, there were more than 2.1 million eligible voters of 65 years or more, of which 1.1 million were women. Furthermore, there were close to 227,000 male and close to 215,000 female first-time voters entitled to vote. In total, there were nearly 7.8 million eligible voters in the 2022 parliamentary election in Sweden.
