According to a survey conducted on Indian consumers' milk purchase preferences, 72 percent of respondents preferred to purchase milk in plastic pouches of 500ml or 1 liter. Whereas, 14 percent of the consumers bought unpackaged milk from local vendors and 12 percent of respondents bought tetra pack milk with longer shelf life.
