England Women's football team: positive online posts 2022, by player
In the run-up to and during the UEFA Women's EURO 2022, a report found that the English women's football team players received many positive messages across selected social media platforms. Arsenal and England forward Beth Mead received 8,169 messages of hope during the examined period, and Manchester United's Ella Toone received 7,179 positive messages. Although the WEURO teams were subjected to various types of online abuse throughout the tournament, the majority of posts were positive.
