During a survey conducted among advertising and marketing professionals in the United States and Canada in early 2021 it was found that 65 percent of them believed creating more inclusive and representative advertising feels inauthentic and may pose risk to their clients or brands. Another 51 percent said such inclusive advertising was risky because it was too political.
