During the 2023 financial year, the steel export sales of PT Krakatau Steel amounted to more than 54 million U.S. dollars, while the steel domestic sales reached 1.2 billion U.S. dollars. Krakatau Steel is Indonesia's largest steel-producing company. It has been working together with Posco, the third-largest steel producer in the world, to increase their steel production. By 2027, both companies aim to produce ten million metric tons of steel in total.
