BeReal is a social media and photo sharing app that allows users to post a limited amount of times during one day and promotes a filter-free and more realistic content style. During the second quarter of 2022, BeReal amassed almost 5.4 million downloads from iOS users based in the United States, corresponding to approximately 43 percent of all app downloads via the Apple App Store. The United Kingdom was the country with the second largest amount of BeReal downloads on iOS, with 3.5 million downloads, while Canada ranked third with over one million downloads during the examined period.
