A survey from June 2019 to April 2021 in India revealed that the highest share of children under six years who had received immunizations 12 months prior to the survey belonged to Scheduled tribes at nearly 60 percent. However, among the other castes and tribes, the share of the immunized children below six years was the lowest for the other backward class with over 55 percent.
