A survey from 2019 to 2021 in India revealed, that the share of children under six years who received immunizations correlated with the level of schooling of their mother. The share of immunized children was the highest for mothers who had completed 8-9 years of schooling, with 56.2 percent. Comparatively, the share of children receiving immunizations was the lowest for mothers who completed 12 or more years of schooling, amounting to 49.2 percent in India.
