Capital expenditure of Northrop Grumman 2020-2021, by segment

The capital expenditure of Northrop Grumman in 2020 and 2021 has more or less remained constant with only a 0.35 percent decrease in 2021. In 2020, about 38 percent of the total capital expenditure went into the segment aeronautics systems, and three percent to the segment space systems. In 2021 however the highest amount of capital expenditure went into the space systems segment at around 37 percent of total capital expenditure followed by aeronautics systems at around 33 percent. The two segments are the largest capital absorbing segments accounting for 70 percent of the total.
