During an August 2021 survey conducted in the United States it was found that 30 percent of respondents aged between 35 and 54 years said they found pharmaceutical advertising more memorable when it was relevant to the needs of their friend or family member. At the same time, 51 percent of them said the same about ads that were relevant to their own medical needs.
