According to a survey conducted in Tunisia in 2021, roughly 60 percent of the respondents expressed their refusal to undergo medical treatment in health centers in the country due to the lack of necessary equipment and medications. Moreover, over 40 percent cited the long waiting time or waiting list as a reason for not going. Another 39.1 percent mentioned the lack of specialized doctors as their reason for not undergoing the treatment.
