In 2023, inbound tourism spending in Cyprus equaled the figure recorded in 2019, the year before the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. Meanwhile, the expenditure by domestic visitors in the country increased by 5.7 percent over the same period. Overall, total tourism spending in Cyprus amounted to roughly 3.44 billion euros in 2023, exceeding pre-pandemic levels. This figure was expected to reach an estimated 3.76 billion euros in 2024.
