As of the first quarter of 2022, the Google Play Store removed almost 215,000 mobile apps from its platform, down from almost 419 thousand apps delisted during the previous quarter. Between the first quarter of 2021 and the first quarter of 2022, the app distribution platform Google Play Store delisted a total of approximately 1.5 million apps.
