Respondents in Brazil, Poland, and Mexico were the most optimistic about the reduction of sport-utility vehicles' environmental impact through the use of hybrid and electric powertrains, with 92, 91, and 91 percent of consumers respectively agreeing emissions would decrease. In contrast, 57 percent of German respondents believed e-SUVs and hybrid SUVs would help reduce the environmental impact of the vehicle type.
