During a survey published in July 2023, around 53 percent of responding consumers aged 18 to 34 in the United States said that, after receiving direct mail, they searched for the sending brand online. Among respondents aged 35 and above, however, the most common response was to visit the brand's website. According to the same study, catalogs and magazines were U.S. consumers' favorite direct mail formats.
