In 2021, there was a total of 144 million fans of women's football in Europe. This has been predicted to rise to 328 million by 2033, representing an increase of more than 125 percent. This increase is perhaps unsurprising, as by 2022 a number of attendance records for women's football had already been broken, with many of the highest-attended women's EURO games taking place in that year.
