Estonia was forecast to experience the highest increase in electricity prices for households in 2022 compared to the previous year, at 259 percent, as a result of the consequences of the Russia-Ukraine war on the energy sector. Furthermore, Estonian natural gas prices were expected to rise by 253 percent relative to 2021.
