Energy price inflation rate in Estonia 2019-2024, by commodity
The inflation rates of energy commodity prices in Estonia increased significantly in 2022. Gas has seen the steepest rise, with the inflation rate standing at 259.5 percent in September 2022. However, it steeply decreased to -71.9 percent in September 2023. These increases in inflation came following Russia's invasion of Ukraine, which has caused uncertainty over Europe's security of gas supply, as well as intense energy price volatility.
