According to a survey published in 2022, six percent of female respondents in Spain agreed that women who say they were abused often make up or exaggerate claims of abuse or rape. This share more than doubled among male respondents. Furthermore, this survey also showed that about a third of Spanish men believed that feminism does more harm than good.
