According to a 2024 survey in Brazil, only 16 percent of the people surveyed were satisfied with democracy in the country. The share of respondents who claimed to be only a little satisfied with it reached 47 percent. Furthermore, according to another survey carried out in 2023, seven percent of Brazilians believe that, under certain circumstances, a dictatorship is better than a democratic regime.
