In the financial year 2021, the annual revenue of the Australian free-to-air (FTA) broadcast industry amounted to approximately 4.4 billion U.S. dollars. This reflected an increase compared to the previous fiscal year, when the annual revenue dropped below four billion U.S. dollars during the COVID-19 pandemic.
