A February 2022 survey explored what type of travel activities Gen Z individuals in the United States and the United Kingdom would prefer doing in the metaverse. Overall, 31 percent of American respondents said they would like to explore a city or country they have never visited before. Meanwhile, 21 percent of surveyed Britons mentioned a visit to a place seen in movies or on television.
