As of June 2022, a survey conducted on the tourism industry post-COVID-19 pandemic in Thailand revealed that around 76.4 percent of the respondents stated the reason for not wanting to travel was the expensiveness of fuel. Meanwhile, around 41.1 percent of the respondents stated that they were still afraid of COVID-19.
