A January 2022 survey found that about 74 percent of United States adults had heard nothing at all about the mobile game HQ Trivia, developed by Intermedia Labs to allow users to win prize money through live trivia games. Only five percent of U.S. adults had heard a lot about HQ Trivia, and although the app shut down in 2020 from lack of funding, it returned a few weeks later.
