LCOE in China 2010-2024, by source
As of 2021, the levelized cost of energy (LCOE) in China from solar and storage sources was around 94.8 U.S. dollars per megawatt hour. This cost is expected to decrease in 2022 to around 91.03 U.S. dollars per megawatt hour. As an ongoing supply shortage makes gas purchases more expensive, the LCOE for gas is expected to notably increase until 2024.
