Brazil: WhatsApp users 2024, by political orientation

According to a 2024 survey, around 39 percent of WhatsApp users in Brazil identified as leaning toward a Right-wing political position. With 18 fewer percentage points, respondents holding leftist views represented around one-fifth of the survey's interviewees, while those who preferred not answer accounted for a smaller share. Additionally, around eight percent of Brazilians used the instant-messaging app as their main source for political information.
