According to a survey conducted in selected Middle Eastern countries in February to March 2022, 54 percent of the Muslim respondents in Lebanon indicated that they used social media to get inspiration and research shopping ideas during Ramadan. In comparison, only 43 percent of the respondents used social media to seek advice about shopping from others during Ramadan.
