According to a survey conducted in selected Middle Eastern countries in February to March 2022, 86 percent of the Muslim respondents in Iraq indicated that they used social media to keep them entertained and pass the time during Ramadan. In comparison, 59 percent of the respondents used social media to watch live videos by celebrities and publishers during Ramadan.
