Between 2011 and 2022, the number of homicide victims in Norway peaked in 2011, when 110 people were murdered in the country. This includes the fatalities of the terrorist attack on July 22 that year. There were constantly more Norwegian citizens than foreign citizens among the victims, but the proportion of foreign murder victims tended to be high compared to the number of foreign citizens living in the country.
