According to a survey on e-wallet usage by Oppotus, the leading transaction made using e-wallet in Malaysia in the 4th quarter of 2022 was for groceries purchases with 70 percent of respondents having used it for this purpose. This was followed by paying for food and beverages, with 68 percent of respondents having used e-wallets for this.
