A survey conducted in mainland China in March of 2022 revealed that 85 percent of those respondents who said that their job could be done remotely chose hybrid working (both from home and the workplace). This proportion was much higher than the global average of 55 percent.

Regarding your current job role: how are you currently working?
Among a total of 3,129 survey respondents, around 2,000 people said their work could be done remotely.
Among all survey respondents, 54 percent were male, 41 percent were female, 5 percent were others;
7 percent were between 18 and 25 years, 46 percent were between 25 and 41 years, 35 percent were between 42 and 57 years, and 11 percent were between 58 and 76 years;
79 percent of respondents did professional/administrative work, 15 percent did skilled manual work, and 6 percent did semi-skilled or unskilled manual work;
97 percent worked full time.
