As of 2022, the volume of natural gas imported into Egypt amounted to 6.29 billion cubic meters. This was higher than the previous year when the country imported 4.22 billion cubic meters of natural gas. Considering the period reviewed, Egypt only imported natural gas between 2015 and 2018 and recently from 2020 and 2022.
