According to a survey conducted in selected Middle Eastern countries in February to March 2022, 38 percent of the Muslim respondents stated that they would be using their smartphones more during the upcoming Ramadan. The United Arab Emirates had the highest share of people stating that they would be using their smartphones more, with a share of 32 percent.
