As of June 2022, around 41.4 percent of Generation-Z consumers in China had a monthly online spending power of between 1,000 and 1,999 yuan. Over 30 percent of Gen-Zs were capable of spending more than 2,000 yuan online, up by 2.7 percent compared to last year.
