According to a survey conducted in Tunisia in 2021, over one-quarter of the respondents said that they did not participate in presidential elections because elections do not change anything. Roughly another quarter of the respondents reported that they did not get the chance to vote. Moreover, 22.8 percent of the respondents said they did not know or care about any of the election candidates.
