According to a survey conducted in selected Middle Eastern countries in February to March 2022, around 91.9 percent of all surveyed Muslim respondents stated to actively celebrate Ramadan every year. The share was highest in Saudi Arabia at 97.7 percent. Lebanon was the only country in the Middle East where less than 80 percent of the surveyed Muslims stated to partake in Ramadan celebrations each year.
