According to a survey conducted in selected Asian countries in February and March 2022, 80 percent of Muslim respondents stated that they planned to increase worship for the upcoming Ramadan in 2022. Among the other activities, waking up for the suhoor meal saw an increase in share of respondents, rising from 58 percent in 2021 to 65 percent in 2022. Comparatively, 15 percent of respondents planned to play games during the upcoming Ramadan to fill their time.
