According to a survey on online shopping behavior conducted by Rakuten Insight in June 2022, 60 percent of respondents in Indonesia who stated that they would stop shopping online would do so because they preferred shopping in a physical store and being able to inspect the product before buying. In comparison, 21 percent of respondents stated that they had negative experiences with e-commerce sites and online shopping.
