Breaking down the voting intentions in Sweden by region, it becomes clear that the Social Democratic Party enjoys the highest support in all six major regions as of December 2022. Moreover, the Social Democrats enjoys an especially high level of support in Northern Sweden, where almost 40 percent of the respondents would vote for the party. Moreover, right-wing Sweden Democrats enjoys a high level of support in Southern Sweden as well as in Småland and the Islands, whereas the conservative Moderate Party finds a high share of its voters in Middle Sweden and in the capital area.
