As of 2018, most of the health tech startups in Nigeria, nearly 55 percent, obtained funding from grants. Another popular channel used to obtain funding was equity. In the said year, around 35 percent of startup ventures passed through this means. Overall, Lagos led in terms of the health tech startup concentration in the country.
