Global average annual petrochemical cracker margins 2013-2021, by select hub

Petrochemical cracker margins in 2021 increased when compared to the previous year, except for Asian markets. That year, the U.S. ethane market had the highest profit, at 692 U.S. dollars per metric ton. This was followed by the Western Europe naphtha market, with average margins amounting to 597 U.S. dollars per metric ton. Meanwhile, the petrochemical cracker margin for North East and South East Asia stood at 229 U.S. dollars per metric ton that year.
