In 2023, the value of fast and secure transfers (FAST) in Singapore amounted to about 487 billion Singapore dollars. The value of transactions has significantly increased compared to the previous year, and has grown steadily since the launch of the service. FAST is a domestic real-time payment scheme launched in 2014, that enables customers of the participating banks to transfer Singapore dollar funds from one bank to another almost instantly.
